Camera and photography inventory we review

Camera inventory is especially model-sensitive. Small differences in body generation, lens mount, kit configuration and packaging can materially change demand, so exact part numbers are more useful than broad descriptions such as “digital camera” or “lens.”

New old stock and discontinued camera inventory

We review Nikon and Canon camera inventory among other identifiable new old stock and surplus photography products. For sealed or aged inventory, include the box label, SKU/UPC when available, quantity and storage condition. Discontinued does not automatically mean obsolete; demand varies significantly by model.

Do not break sealed packaging just to create a submission.

For unopened stock, clear photos of exterior labels and case quantities may provide enough identification to start the review.

Used, open-box and return inventory

Mixed-condition lots can be reviewed, but condition should not be described as “used” if the lot actually contains returns, missing accessories or unknown-status units. Separating the list into new, open-box, tested used, customer returns and untested inventory creates a more useful picture of risk and likely resale channels.

Frequently asked questions

Do you buy Nikon and Canon inventory?
Yes. We review Nikon and Canon camera inventory, and other identifiable camera and lens inventory may also be considered based on model, quantity, condition and demand.
Yes, store or distributor closeouts can be submitted. A SKU-level export with quantities and conditions is the fastest way to evaluate a large assortment.
Used lenses can be reviewed in business quantities. Include exact lens model/mount, quantity, condition and whether caps, cases or original boxes are included.
Photos are enough to start if model labels are readable, but a spreadsheet usually produces a cleaner and faster review for larger lots.

Prepare your inventory

Four details make new old stock inventory easier to evaluate.

A useful first submission does not need to be perfect. Start with the information you already have, then add the details that help identify the equipment and the lot.

Exact model or part number

Use the manufacturer label or SKU whenever possible. Specific models are more useful than broad descriptions such as “switch,” “server” or “laptop.”

Quantity by model

List the count for each model or configuration. If exact counts are not ready, a reasonable pallet, carton or lot estimate can still help start the review.

Condition & packaging

Note whether the inventory is factory sealed, open-box, used, returned, untested or incomplete. Mention damaged cartons or missing accessories when known.

Location & representative photos

Include the city/state and a few clear photos of the lot, model labels and packaging. This helps the purchasing team understand scale and logistics.
