Bulk electronics purchasing
Sell Cisco equipment in bulk
Submit Cisco switches, routers, modules, transceivers and related enterprise hardware from refreshes, distribution stock, project surplus or decommissions.
Cisco Catalyst
Cisco Nexus
Routers
Modules & optics
Cisco inventory to identify by exact model
Catalyst switching
Access, aggregation and campus switching families. Record the exact chassis or fixed-switch part number.
Nexus switching
Data-center switching hardware, power supplies, fan modules and line cards where applicable.
Routers & security hardware
Enterprise and branch routing or security appliances can be included for review.
Modules & optics
Transceivers, uplink modules, supervisors, power supplies and other removable hardware.
Do not stop at “Cisco switch”
Cisco product families contain many configurations. The exact part number makes a bulk list actionable. If a device has removable modules, record them separately when you can identify them without disrupting equipment that is still in service.
For new old stock, note whether boxes are factory sealed, open-box or have aged/damaged packaging.
Refresh, migration and surplus scenarios
- Campus or branch switching refreshes
- Data-center network refreshes
- Vendor migrations
- Distributor or reseller overstock
- Unused project hardware
- Open-box and customer-return inventory
Licensing and subscriptions
Hardware can be physically present even when software subscriptions, cloud management or support entitlements are separate. Only list transferable licensing or support when you can document it. Do not assume an associated subscription automatically transfers.
Build a Cisco-ready manifest
Use one line per model or part number and include quantity, condition and included accessories. If you have a mixed Cisco and non-Cisco refresh, keep everything in the same spreadsheet and use a brand column. See the broader networking equipment page.

Prepare your inventory
Four details make new old stock inventory easier to evaluate.
A useful first submission does not need to be perfect. Start with the information you already have, then add the details that help identify the equipment and the lot.
Exact model or part number
Use the manufacturer label or SKU whenever possible. Specific models are more useful than broad descriptions such as “switch,” “server” or “laptop.”
Quantity by model
List the count for each model or configuration. If exact counts are not ready, a reasonable pallet, carton or lot estimate can still help start the review.
Condition & packaging
Note whether the inventory is factory sealed, open-box, used, returned, untested or incomplete. Mention damaged cartons or missing accessories when known.
Location & representative photos
Include the city/state and a few clear photos of the lot, model labels and packaging. This helps the purchasing team understand scale and logistics.
