Bulk electronics purchasing
Sell used computer equipment in bulk
Move laptops, desktops, monitors, components and peripherals by pallet rather than listing units individually. Corporate refreshes, reseller stock and mixed computer lots can all be submitted.

Why model consistency matters
A corporate fleet of the same laptop model is easier to evaluate than an unsorted pallet of many generations. Mixed pallets are still useful; preserve the model-level information you already have.
Useful details include model, processor family, memory, storage, charger status and whether units power on. If those details are not known, start with model mix and quantity rather than opening every machine before requesting a review.
Grading and condition
There is no universal A/B/C grading standard. If your company grades hardware, include the grade and a short definition. If not, plain-language terms such as “pulled working,” “untested returns,” “scratched but complete” or “for parts” are clearer.
Keep the description honest:
A mixed lot can include good and faulty units. Separate known faulty equipment only when you know which units are faulty; otherwise mark the group as untested or mixed.
Data-bearing equipment
Computer lots may include internal drives or other data-bearing media. Follow your organization’s own data-security, retention and sanitization requirements before transfer. State whether drives are included, removed or handled separately so the equipment configuration is clear.

Prepare your inventory
Four details make new old stock inventory easier to evaluate.
A useful first submission does not need to be perfect. Start with the information you already have, then add the details that help identify the equipment and the lot.
Exact model or part number
Use the manufacturer label or SKU whenever possible. Specific models are more useful than broad descriptions such as “switch,” “server” or “laptop.”
Quantity by model
List the count for each model or configuration. If exact counts are not ready, a reasonable pallet, carton or lot estimate can still help start the review.
Condition & packaging
Note whether the inventory is factory sealed, open-box, used, returned, untested or incomplete. Mention damaged cartons or missing accessories when known.
Location & representative photos
Include the city/state and a few clear photos of the lot, model labels and packaging. This helps the purchasing team understand scale and logistics.
